Afterwards, the group was asked to appear on the Jump TV special presented by Vaughn Oliver. They filled a very interesting six days in the Big Apple with gigs in Brooklyn, and Crash Mansion in China Town.Yet another TV slot opened and the guys gladly accepted, and jetted down to Austin, Texas, where they appeared on the Fox 7 Good Morning Texas. The band had now made a turning point, and the next big gig for The Peppermint Apes was at The Lakeside venue in Frimley park, where they played with the famous British Comic, Jim Davidson. Their Album was completed in early January 2010 and was launched within a European tour taking in Holland, Belgium and France, by storm! The Remix to "Dancefloor Hero" is being released as a single on April 26, 2010 (this song is championed by no less than the great Rodney Bingenheimer from KROQ in Los Angeles) and on the same day the Internationally famous Jerry Pippin Radio Show is releasing the hour-long interview with The Peppermint Apes ! Recently they have gained International attention with the Discovery Channel, in "Sailing Miss Sadie," which airs on May 1, 2010, and then they were invited to write the theme song for, "Wild Horses."
A second
USA tour is being
planned for late summer
2010, and songs from the
band have been
commissioned for use in
documentaries for the
Sky Television Network (Discovery Channel). |
