Jerry's friendship with Bostonred goes back to the early days of  his live streaming program on KBIX. Just after the New Year on a cold night in January 2000, Bostonred started calling into the show, reacting mostly to political discussions but various other topics  including jazz and oldies music seem to get Bostonred's attention.
Listeners reacted and still do to Bostonred's blunt take-no-prisoners style and his paradoxical dealing with Jerry on the air. However most of the time the respect for Jerry's experience and views does come through the speakers as they discuss various topics. Here is a collection of examples when the tables have been turned and Jerry is the call-in guest on Bostonred's various shows.
(Note: he does occasionally use an Alias)

In a follow up to the weekend's events in politics, Bostonred and Jerry Pippin discuss Sarah Palin and her political fortunes. In this program Sarah's complete speech given at the 7,000 member event in Senator Harry Reid's hometown is featured, plus a reaction to the speech by Senator Reid and then an in-depth discussion of polling and people's attitudes toward the Tea Party movement. Several tidbits about Palin are presented as well as some surprising support for her from an unlikely source.

In this discussion OJ, Tiger, and Michael Jackson are discussed along with a last-minute look at the Senatorial Primary in Massachusetts, the politics of health care and revelations about Senators Tom Coburn and Jim Inhofe literally sleeping with the Christian Right CLICK HERE to listen to the program from blogtalk radio.
